About R&R Quality Homes
To say that construction excellence runs in Rob Humphreys’ blood would be a supreme understatement.
Our History
The Humphreys construction lineage began back in the 1800’s with Rob’s great-grandfather William Robert Humphreys who worked as a ship carpenter. Williams son Robert Griffith Humphreys then proudly grasped the mantle from his father in the early 1900’s and built a reputation of excellence as a bridge builder in Melbourne.
Robert Griffith has several notable achievements to his name including the construction of three bridges that span the Yarra River and building the roof onto the famous Shrine of Remembrance in Melbourne.
Rob’s father Bob Humphreys carried on the tradition as a lifetime professional builder based originally in Melbourne where he most notably built the majority of Calder raceway and then moving to Wangaratta where he continued the building tradition.
R&R Today
Today Rob Humphreys is one of the most highly regarded, award-winning builders of custom homes and commercial projects in Wangaratta and the North East region of Victoria.
Having spent over 30 years dedicated to delivering superior results for clients, Rob has also built a stellar reputation within the Melbourne construction industry, being selected year after year as one of the few construction best-practice experts to sit on ask an expert panel of the annual HIA Melbourne Home Show.
What truly makes the Humphreys history unique is much more than just some rare ultra-builder gene that has been passed down through all 4 generations. Rather, it is a hard-earned, carefully cultivated dedication to the delivery of excellence in both product and professional service – every time.
